Senior Architectural Designer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Architectural Designer to join our welcoming, close-knit team in Singapore, as part of the wider Scott Brownrigg international studio network. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional design and outstanding service to clients, bringing both creativity and commercial awareness to every project. We are looking for an innovative thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is driven to push design quality while responding thoughtfully to client needs. Given our current project portfolio, the ideal candidate will also be able to communicate effectively in Indonesian Bahasa, supporting our work across the region and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.

Your Skills

  • An understanding of the design process and ability to manage/deliver this from concept to completion;
  • Flexibility and openness of approach and willingness to work as a team player;
  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbally and drawing;
  • Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team.
  • Competent Experience of various forms of building contract (D&B, CM, Traditional);
  • Competent working knowledge of Revit & BIM
  • Good working knowledge with design tools like Rhino, Grasshopper etc is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore & regional Building Systems, Regulations and construction types;
  • Ability to drive the content and the final presentation of project documentation using Affinity Designer, Photo, Publisher and SketchUp.
  • Ability to manage resources and people effectively and efficiently;
  • Experience of working within a team effectively and delivering tight deadlines on time and on budget;
  • Ability to cope with change e.g. to brief, programme or role.
  • Project Co-ordination;
  • Ability to liaise and co-ordinate other disciplines/team members

Your qualifications and experience

  • RIBA Part 3 or approved equivalent qualified Architectural Graduate
  • Registration with the Board of Architects in Singapore is preferred and registered in other recognised professional bodies in other countries can be considered
  • Demonstrable relevant experience of working in Singapore and within South-East Asia working within the data centres, critical infrastructure and rail architecture sectors.
  • Demonstrable relevant architectural work experience in the design and implementation of rail projects in Singapore
  • Certified Singapore BCA’s Green Mark Manager or Design for Safety (DfS) is preferred.
  • Due to immediate project requirements, experience in Construction stages required, particularly in Indonesian context. Candidates for this role are required to be conversant in Indonesian Bahasa, higher proficiencies will be an advantage
